Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and put any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart by clicking the 'Add To Cart' button next to the product. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' in the top right-hand corner of any page and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy your order. All information supplied to CopShopUK Ltd is kept in the strictest of confidence, and will not be divulged to third parties. We accept the following Credit/Debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta, Switch, Solo and Maestro. Payment is conducted via HSBC, one of the world's largest secure payment providers. Payments are pre-authorised and no money is taken until the goods are shipped. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to despatch. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, Royal Mail or via the Internet. Paying By Cheque Make your purchases on-line in the normal way and choose the 'Cheque Via Post' option. Cheques should be made payable to CopShopUK Ltd, and sent to the following address: Unit 6 & 6A, Thorne Farm, Thorne Hill, Minster, Ramsgate Kent CT12 5DS United Kingdom (Mainland) Note: Goods are never despatched prior to payment being received. As soon as your cheque has been received and processed your order will be released (please allow 7 working days for your cheque to clear). Authorised Personnel Only For security reasons, items specified as 'Authorised, Emergency or Police Personnel Only' are only sold to Police and Emergency, Military, Prison or Security personnel, and are generally only delivered to a Police Station/College, or related services address. When purchasing these items at checkout, you will need to indicate an appropriate alternative delivery address, and where applicable, enter your Shoulder Number. If circumstances make these delivery arrangements difficult, please contact the Sales Office on 01843 825757, where we can take a few further details to ensure security is maintained and authorise despatch to the address of your choice. |
Shipping And Handling
The following prices include postage, packing, and insurance within the UK (excludes Channel Islands).
* Free carriage may be available for high value / bulk orders. Contact us for details Orders are shipped either via Royal Mail 1st Class or by 24 hour courier service (at our discretion). Goods despatched via courier will require a signature, the delivery driver will attempt delivery on two consecutive working days following despatch. Should you be unavailable to take receipt of your order, a calling card will be left, and you will need to contact your nearest depot to arrange redelivery or collection. Important: We rely on our courier being able to successfully deliver orders. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address you choose is a suitable one, or that you contact the courier immediately following a second failed delivery attempt to avoid items being returned to sender (typically 3 days after a card is left). Should you wish a courier to leave a package in a safe place (i.e. without a signature being required), please indicate this at point of ordering in the 'Special Delivery Instructions' section, but PLEASE BE ADVISED that CopShopUK Ltd and the courier WILL NOT accept liability for packages that have been left in this manner and that go astray. Note: When items are returned to us undelivered, we are charged by the courier company. CopShopUK Ltd reserve the right to pass these charges on to the customer, unless it can be established that the fault of non-delivery lies with the courier. Similarly in these instances, CopShopUK Ltd will not be liable for the additional charges resulting from extra delivery attempts, re-sending of parcels or changes of delivery address. * Discounts may be availalbe for high value, low weight orders. Contact us for details. We continue to try to keep postage costs to all our customers at a consistent and reasonable rate. We have been obliged to pass on a percentage of the additional courier costs attached to certain orders. As a result, customers living outside of the mainland UK, or in some of the more remote parts of Scotland will now be charged carriage at the Northern Ireland/Scottish Highlands & Islands rate. This option should be selected from the drop down menu at the point of ordering. If this option applies to you, but is not selected, we will contact you via e-mail or telephone to give you the opportunity to proceed with the order and pay the additional postage charge required. Customer service is hugely important to us, and we will always try to be flexible with our postage charges - where lighter items fall into the higher priced bracket, we are often able to offer a postage discount, please telephone for details. Delivery Schedule
All goods remain the property of CopShopUK Ltd until payment has been received in full. Customer satisfaction and speedy service is of paramount importance to us, and the vast majority of our orders are despatched within two working days of ordering. There will always be supply delays and other unforeseen difficulties outside of our control, however, so please allow 7-10 working days for delivery of your goods. For an accurate indication of when you can expect to receive your order, please telephone our Sales Office on 01843 825757. Note: Dates given by CopShopUK Ltd are approximate, and we cannot be held responsible if delivery dates quoted are not met. Certain bespoke items (personalised FPN Holders, e.g.) attract additional delivery times, as will be indicated alongside the product information. |

Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted using 128-bit encryption on HSBC Secure Server when the order is placed. They are only decrypted after they reach HSBC computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. CopShopUK Ltd guarantees your satisfaction, and offers a 7 day no quibble option-to-return on all of our products. If you are unhappy with a product please see our returns policy for further instruction. CopShopUK Ltd is happy to offer a 6 month guarantee against faulty workmanship or materials on all products sold (where items have not been used excessively/inappropriately). Where applicable we will offer a replacement or repair (see Returns Policy for further details). Returns Policy
CopShopUK Ltd complies with the following regulation: "The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000" which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htmCopShopUK Ltd wants our customers to be fully satisfied with all products purchased from us. We spend a lot of time researching and testing the products we stock to make sure that they are all of a good quality. We do appreciate that from time to time products can fall short of this quality and we need to be able to get you a replacement item. Similarly there may be occasions where an item fails to meet expectations, or needs to be exchanged for an alternative size or specification. In these instances please follow the procedure below: The fastest way for us to deal with your return is either by e-mail at info@copshopuk.com or via our Customer Sales and Service Line on 01843 825757. We will take details, provide you with a returns number (via e-mail or telephone), and will ask you to re-package the item as you have received it. Note: Unused/unworn items (including ALL product packaging) must be returned in a resalable condition. Please DO NOT return boot boxes without additional wrapping, as this may constitute customer damage and be subject to a 10% handling charge. A refund will not be issued for returned unwanted goods that in the opinion of CopShopUK Ltd are not in a resalable condition - this includes packaging. In all instances send the item(s) back to us using either Royal Mail Standard Parcels or First/Second Class Recorded post (for smaller items). This stipulation is made only to minimize additional costs to the customer, since CopShopUK Ltd refund postage (in the case of faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied items, where agreed) based on the above rates. Note: Customers are responsible for any goods returned until they are received at one of our registered addresses. Goods that go lost or missing in transit cannot be reimbursed. For this reason we recommend that customers ensure they have adequate postal insurance/proof of postage. Faulty, Damaged, Missing or Incorrectly Supplied Items Claims for any of the above/notification of defects in newly supplied products must be made within 7 days of receipt of the order. Later claims will be accepted at the discretion of CopShopUK Ltd. With clearly unused/unworn faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied items, an exchange or refund will be issued within 7 working days of receipt of the returned item. In the case of worn/used items reported later as faulty, it will usually be necessary for us to send the goods to the relevant manufacturer for a fault assessment. In these instances a refund or exchange may take up to 28 days. Where it is agreed that the product is faulty, an exchange or full refund will be offered, together with a refund of postage costs incurred by the customer (based on Royal Mail Standard Parcels or First/Second Class Recorded post). ITEMS REPORTED AS FAULTY MUST BE RETURNED WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS OF NOTIFICATION. Note: Should any item be found not to be faulty, CopShopUK Ltd will keep the customer fully advised of the outcome via e-mail or telephone. Each case is likely to be different, and will be treated individually at our discretion. In the event of a returned item being found not faulty, CopShopUK Ltd will not refund postage costs, and may charge additional postage fees should a customer request the return of the item following inspection. Unwanted Items / Items for Exchange Unsuitable items, or items for exchange need to be reported within our 7 day cooling off period. The customer will be required to stand the cost of return, however in the case of exchanges we will pay the additional courier charges required to despatch the new item. Note: We are unable to accept any of the following items for return unless they are faulty, whereupon we will send a replacement: Personalised items, including FPN Holders, embroidered epaulettes or clothing Books and DVD's (except under exceptional circumstances) Earpieces/undergarments/socks (for hygiene reasons) |
