A new generation of mission boots: The Combat Boot MK2 GTX, with its comfortable dual-density PU midsole and arch support, offers a great deal of comfort for long shifts.
Its certified ankle protection system with PORON® technology makes the boot the perfect choice for soldiers, airmen, sailors, police, security and private military contractors.
Suitable for moderate, wet and cold climate zones and designed to ensure stability and durability. Constructed with minimal seams and a water-repellent, tear-resistant smooth leather with LOWA® RAYFLECT to reflect sunlight.
100% GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear
Boots equipped with a GORE-TEX performance comfort footwear membrane are permanently waterproof and are perfect for fluctuating temperatures.
Rayflect
The upper leather of the boot is equipped with sunlight-reflecting pigments. Due to the reflection, the leather and thus the inside of the boot heats up less and slower, especially in black boots. This feature makes it easier to work outside, especially in summer.
Closed Hooks
The boot is equipped with lacing hooks with a closed design. The laces are guided securely and cannot slip out of their hooks. Closed lace hooks minimise the risk of the boot getting caught on objects.
2-Zone Lacing
The forefoot and upper area can be laced in varying degrees of tightness.
Minimal Seams
Avoidance of unnecessary stitches to reduce pressure points.
Orthotics Certified
The boot is equipped with an exchangeable footbed for optimal individual adjustment and, in combination with the orthopaedic insoles ErgoPad® work:x and ErgoPad® work:h+ from BAUERFEIND®, is certified and approved for use as occupational footwear in accordance with DIN EN ISO 20347:2012.
Ankle Support
The boot is equipped with high-performance protection of the ankle area against injuries caused by external impact and is certified (additional requirement AN). The protection of the inner and outer ankles is ensured by a PORON® padding in the affected area. This material is characterised by a particularly high shock absorption. Ankle protection is particularly important in the military sector and for work in rough terrain.

A few top tips to obtain the best fit:
- Try the boots on at the end of your working day as your feet could have increased by up to half a size due to vigorous activity.
- Always wear your chosen socks when trying on footwear.
- Please remember that LOWA boots are available in half sizes.
- Fit the larger foot first but leave it unlaced. Push your foot as far forward in the boot as possible; you are now looking for a gap of approx 10mm in the space now left behind the heel.
- Put the other boot on and lace them both up with your heel well back into the heel counters. They should feel snug around the ball and instep of your feet without having to lace them too tightly.
- Walk up and down and experience slight heel lift only, and minimum foot slippage. You should not feel the front of the boot at all, even when trying to push your foot forward inside the boot.
- Boots may become a little wider in time (but do not rely on this when purchasing).
- All boots, however comfy they feel from new, need a little time to soften up.
UK Sizes
Length difference from full size to full size = 8.46 mm (half size to next size = 4.23 mm).
Standard Last
Ball of the foot width increases max 3 mm from full size to next full size (half size to next size = max 1.5mm).
Wide Fitting Last
If choosing a wide fitting boot then the following width dimensions are added to the standard width: Ball of the foot width increases 2 mm on each size. Toe volume and instep height increases also.
Foot Length
If using your foot length as your guide (choose your longest foot), then add 10 mm before converting to UK size, to allow adequate length inside the boot. This is classed as the Mondopoint measuring system.
