The ZEPHYR MK2 GTX MID is the further development of a legendary combat boot.

Its balance of agility, lightness and stability makes it perfect for use by military or police special forces, but also by regular armed forces. The raised MID-CUT shaft provides the necessary support for fast roping and is not restrictive in close combat.

The upper materials used consist of a combination of water-repellent and tear-resistant suede and abrasion-resistant and breathable CORDURA® material. An innovative clamping hook allows the lacing to be customised in the forefoot and ankle area.

The waterproof and highly breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort Footwear laminate is ideal for use in moderate and rather wet environments. The 2-layer PU midsole with MONOWRAP® frame surrounds and supports the foot like a kind of exoskeleton.

The ZEPHYR MK2 GTX MID is certified as an occupational shoe in accordance with EN ISO 20347:2012, is antistatic and has a cold and heat-insulating sole complex. The outsole is not only highly slip-resistant, but also resistant to oil, petrol and contact heat.

Highly breathable, durably waterproof lining material. Keeps feet pleasantly dry and offers optimised climate comfort for a broad range of outdoor activities.

Closed Hooks

The laces are guided securely through closed loops and cannot slip out. The design makes it less likely the hooks will get caught upon contact with objects.

2-Zone Lacing

The forefoot and upper area can be laced in varying degrees of tightness.

Double Injection

Comfort and cushioning is further improved for specific uses with a complex injection-moulding process using various layers of PU-foam padding that are poured into a mould. During the process, the sole and upper are bonded together.

Rubber Sole

Conceived and developed by LOWA, the outsole is made from an optimised rubber compound, specifically designed to meet the footwears intended use.

Stability Frame

The LOWA Monowrap Stability frame reaches up around the side of the footwear, providing a three-dimensional cradle to stabilise the foot over rough terrain. Made of PU, the Stability frame offers outstanding lightweight support.
