Class Review by Merv
Overall Rating I've used Magnum and Lowas boots in the past but the GSG-9.2 are an excellent choice of boots. I wear them on 13 hour shifts walking prison landings and find them really comfortable. Best boots I've worn. (Posted on 09/05/2018)

Great shoe, casual look, unbelievable comfort Review by Doug
Overall Rating Had my pair for 7 years so far, they have taken an absolute battering and have seen action in various nightclubs around London as well as Wembley Stadium dealing with mass disorder.
Pros
- Grip, sublime even on beer soaked floors and muddy pitches
- Comfort, almost as good as my Brooks running shoes which is saying something
- Lightness, I've done a marathon in them with no blisters
- Warmth, I got a pair of 5.11 XPRTs to wear in winter, but the GSG9's are warmer
Cons
- Leather quality, seemingly thin
- Build quality, they started breaching at the seems within 2 years, but as i say 7 years later and I'm still wearing them, just!
- Look, not the most formal looking shoe so be aware depending on your deployment (Posted on 25/10/2016) -
Excellent Product and Excellent Service Review by David
Overall Rating I have had these on my wish list for longer than I can remember! Over the years I have owned Magnums, SWAT, Haix and Bates boots and I can categorically say these are by far the best so far. I opted for half a size larger due to other reviews and I made the right choice. They fit amazingly and are extremely comfortable straight out the box. I am a response officer so I can see these lasting a very long time however I suspect the soles are not best suited for day to day foot patrol officers but that is my opinion and not based on any facts. They are considered as gucci kit but well worth it and you get what you pay for...quality! As for customer service from copshop this is faultless rapid delivery and text messages keeping you up to date on delivery window so your not stuck indoors all day waiting for your parcel to arrive! Most comfortable boots ever ! Review by Smiler
Overall Rating I've worn boots for 6 years as infantryman and 22 years frontline private security operative. These are the most comfy boots ever worn. Had them on for a straight 20 hours at V fest this weekend and feet were still good. They may be classed as Gucci kit, but well worth the cost and they are a bargain from Copshop. Best Patrol Boot Review by Joe
Overall Rating Good tip first GET YOUR FEET MEASURED FIRST.
I am a UK 10.5 and the Adidas tend to size quite small so consider at least one size up. I bought a UK 12 .
After 12 years of regular patrol work this boot is by far the best I have worn.
Magnums in various formulations are not comparable.
The GSG9 takes some getting used to in the high boot form but provides excellent linear and laterial support for the foot and ankle.
It is relatively light and is a stable platform for running in if needed.
The soles are good on wet surfaces and steady on snow/ice.
I would say these boots wear quicker than a magnum but comfort is out of this world.
Twin this boot with a decent sock like Bridgedale light hiker or similar (in black of course) .
One other consideration this Boot looks trainer like so for more formal duties consider an alternative but two pairs so far I am well impressed with the GSG9.

Great boots Review by Prav
Overall Rating First of all the service from Copshop is outstanding. I ordered before 2pm and they were delivered the very next day.
The boots are very comfy and I would recommend them. However they are a narrow fit so may not be suited to those with wider feet.
I read many reviews before ordering these boots. Obviously they are quite expensive so I didn't want to make a mistake.
The sizes are not correct to UK sizes. I am a UK size 10. I read that they come up small so ordered a pair of UK size 11. They are exactly right in that size for me. Out of curiosity I took out the inner sole and compared it to my North Face boots UK size 10 inner sole. They are exactly the same so Adidas are not getting their measurements correct.
Hope that helps. (Posted on 03/04/2014) -
TWO PAIRS BOUGHT AND WORN Review by PETE8185
Overall Rating Very comfortable and need no"breaking in". stylish, practical ,good all round boot
Almost feels like wearing trainers. Pricey but you get what you pay for.
Only issue is the soles wear out after twelve months of continuous foot patrol. The uppers are fine.
Great if they could be re-soled. but that is trouble with moulded solesof any boot (Posted on 24/03/2014) -
good Review by starace1
Overall Rating Very snug fit comfortable and grippy last long however lugs will eventually snap so adidas should update the design replace with metal ones: grips will also eventually wear flat though will take around 3 years of foot and mobile patrol combined (Posted on 14/03/2014)

As good as i expected Review by matw
Overall Rating I was quite taken with the look of these boots when I saw them a while back, but had a perfectly serviceable pair of Magnum Patrols, so held off from buying some.
The Magnums recently fell apart due to overusage, so I treated myself to some GSGs.
I have been a long-term of Adidas wear, particularly their footwear, as they are comfortable and provide support to my feet, despite me having plantarfasciitis (policeman's heel).
These are light, very comfortable and solid. I work in a rural setting and go from changing scenes such as sandy dunes to muddy, hilly farm terrains on a daily basis and these GSGs have not disappointed.
I have no doubt that they will be great in the event of a foot pursuit.
Some may find the look to be a bit too sporty, but the trousers cover up some of them anyway, so i'm not worried. Definitely recommended and I will purchase a pair when these finally give up the ghost. (Posted on 27/09/2013) -
Comfortable all day Review by Wellsy999
Overall Rating Had an old pair of GSG9 classics back in the day, and upgraded to these when they died few years back. Second pair ive had and the comfort is second to none. Your paying Adidas prices but its worth is for feeling like your not wearing boots but wearing trainers for operational duty. They probably last as long as a pair of Magnums or other similar ive had, so no extra life in the soles, but masses of extra comfort! Tip for the top - buy what your trainer size is not your boot size, they come up smaller than the average patrol boot (Posted on 25/06/2013)
